This unique bottling of Peated Single Malt whiskey was triple distilled in the Teeling Whiskey Distillery in Dublin and matured in a combination of ex-Sauturnes and ex-Bourbon cask before being bottled at 46% with no chill filtration. This creates a truly unique taste of savory BBQ smoke accompanied by grilled pineapple and salted caramel sweetness, creating an unconventional Irish whiskey of true character.
An inviting nose where barbeque smoke and cloves are intermingled with fresh notes of butterscotch and orange peel. On the palate is a fascinating blend of Applewood smoke, honey and spices with stewed pears and fresh grilled pineapple. This whiskey finishes with the return of a savory smoke over a lingering wood undertone, which combines delightfully with notes of salted caramel.
